In this workshop, Thomas will guide you through creating the iconic Dresden Plate quilt pattern. Using the Creative Grid 18 degree circle segment ruler set, you’ll be able to effortlessly cut 20-petal round or pointed Dresden Plates from fabric strips without any wastage. Additionally, by sewing together five segments, you can create round or pointed fans.

With the ability to cut petals up to 8-1/2 inches, you’ll have the flexibility to create Dresden Plates up to 16-1/2 inches. Thomas will also demonstrate different variations of the Dresden pattern, such as the standard pointed Dresden, one with rounded ends, or a straight fan.
