“On the Go” Reading Pillow Class

Create the fun and quick “On the Go” Reading Pillow, also known as the Pocket Pillow—a perfect book pillow and a wonderful gift idea!

This pattern includes two sizes:

• A Reading Pillow to fit an 18” pillow form
• A larger Reading Pillow designed for a standard twin pillow

Pattern: Melissa Mortenson-Reading Pillow Pattern

Fabric: Small Pillow (18in x 18in)

• ½ yard of fabric for front of pillow
• ½ yard of fabric for back of pillow
• ½ yard of fabric for pocket
• ½ yard of fusible fleece interfacing
• 22 inch zipper to match the fabric color
• 12 inch webbing for handle (1in wide)
• 18in x 18in pillow form

Bring to class:

• Scissors
• Seam ripper
  
• Pins or clips
  
• Rotary cutter
• Thread to match fabric
• Sewing machine (If you would like to borrow, a machine please let us know when you register.)
• 2 bobbins (wound prior to class, same color as fabric!)

Our Class Policy

No class fees will be transferred, credited or refunded later than one week prior to the start of class. While we recognize that situations may occur beyond your control, we are unable to make exceptions under any circumstance. If sufficient enrollment is not met for any class, we may regretfully need to cancel the class. Your fee will be refunded or credited. To be eligible to take a class at Sew-A-Lot, you must purchase your fabrics from us. We sell top-quality fabrics that give your project the best results possible.
