Sewing Machine Basics

Do you have an old sewing machine that hasn't been out of the closet for years? Did you just purchase a new machine and don't know where to start? This class is for you! Learn the basic functions of your sewing machine and get started on your stitching journey. Regardless of make or model, Thomas will show you how to wind bobbins, thread your machine, select stitches, learn about tension and more. You bring your machine and finally figure out how to make it work.

No class fees will be transferred, credited, or refunded later than one week prior to the start of class. While we recognize that situations may occur beyond your control, we are unable to make exceptions.

If sufficient enrollment is not met, Sew-A-Lot reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class. In this event, class fees will be refunded or credited.

To be eligible for classes at Sew-A-Lot, fabrics for class projects must be purchased from Sew-A-Lot. Our high-quality fabrics help ensure the best possible results for your project.
